BAHATH...
...is a VR experience with a unique tool to use: The grappling hook.
One of the keywords we wanted to represent with this project was "Flow". In Bahath, the player has the ability to use a grappling hook in each of his hands and build up momentum by swinging from rock to rock, accelerating in distance and height.
DESIGN & GAMEPLAY
I took part in the creation of multiple Block-Outs and Level Designs for the game. We used self-made tools to generate dynamic paths for the player. In addition, I created ingame music and SFX/VFX for the game.
UX and motion sickness were handled hand in hand during the development process. The grappling hooks needed alot of tweak and love, to feel smooth and intuitive in navigation from a first person, spiderman-like perspective.
